This is a pretty piece of land. From the road this Adirondack property lies flat and then halfway in it slopes gently to Silver Lake Outlet and the back border with state land. Silver Lake Outlet is a small stream that flows through a typical Adirondack wetland flow before it enters into a sprawling, beautiful open marsh on state land. The land is wooded with a nice stand of white pines and balsam. It has a cabin site in a natural opening with potential views of mountains to the east, and is very secluded and peaceful. There is frontage on a county maintained road with power available.
Union Falls Flow, Silver Lake, and Taylor Pond are just down the road, with trophy trout fishing available in nearby Saranac River. For the hiker, nearby Silver Lake Mt and Catamount Mt have open peaks with breathtaking views looking south towards Whiteface Mt and the surrounding waterways. For the Adirondack outdoors person it doesn’t get any better.
